Barbara E. Shreves, age 81, wife of the late Everett W. Shreves, of Oaks, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in her residence. Born in Friendly, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Carrie D. (Monroe) Wilson and Encil Mathess.

Barbara loved reading, traveling, casinos with friends, conversing with both friends and strangers alike, and making food for family picnics. Her family fondly remembers how she was always generous with both food and conversation.

Barbara is survived by her children: Barbara McCabe, Guy Randall Shreves and Theresa Hoffman; grandchildren: William McCabe, Tonya Davenport, Samantha Morris, Cheryl Nicholson, Timothy Walter, and Rob Hoffman; along with great-grandchildren: Brandon, Caleb, Ryan, Chase, Maisy, Cole, Drew & Jemma. In addition to being survived by close family, she is survived by two sisters, Ione Clark and Sharon LeMasters, both residing in West Virginia.

The family will celebrate Barbara's life in private at a later date.
