Barbara Jean Wynne, age 80, of Souderton, Pennsylvania, wife of the late Michael T. Wynne, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024. Born April 9, 1943, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert Coleman and Regina (Lever) Koos, wife of the late Norton Koos.

Barbara was a long time member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Spring City. Barbara loved her family and friends intensely and she enjoyed making memories with the people she loved. Her 'love language' was cooking and baking. She graduated from Montgomery County Community College in 1990 with an associates in Nursing. She worked outside of the home for a short period of time but her true calling was being a homemaker where she established a home filled with: family traditions, strong faith and prayer, service to the church, local community, friends and neighbors, and fresh food that was generously shared at dinnertime, celebrations, and times of need. Her energy came from a place of love for the people she loved. She deeply loved her husband Mike, who she was married to for 52 years, and we know that she is happily reunited with him.

She is survived by her children Michael E. (Dorothy) Wynne, Thomas P. (Carole) Wynne, Regina C. (James) McMenamin, Catherine E. (Aaron) Noorigian, Frederick S. Wynne, James P. Wynne, as well as her 14 Grandchildren Erin, Michael, Emily, Nathan, Natalie, Jake, Abby, Brett, Hannah, Haley, Daniel, Eddie, Kylie and Lucas, as well as her two brothers Martin Coleman and Norton Koos and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church 3640 Schuylkill Road Spring City, PA 19475 on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Charles O'Hara. Friends will be received from 9:30 AM-10:45 AM at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family in the St. Ann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1739 Ferry Avenue, Camden, NJ 08104, memo: Sacred Heart School, to help support tuition for underprivileged students.
