Barry D. Groves, age 76, husband of the late Sharon L. (Hebhardt) Groves and companion of Ann L. Walker, of Limerick, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in the Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health. Born on October 29, 1941 in Sellersville, PA, he was a son of the late Walter Godshall and Pauline (Shearer) Weitz, and step-son to the late Louis Groves.

Mr. Groves was a graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School in Lansdale. He worked for RCA for many years as a computer programmer, and more recently he finished his career at Home Depot. Mr. Groves volunteered, along with Ann, for Meals on Wheels. He was an avid coin collector, had an interest in military history, and earlier in life had enjoyed hunting and flying. He loved traveling extensively, had a sweet tooth, and had an affection for anything chocolate. .

Mr. Groves is survived four children, Dale P., husband of LaRue Groves of Leesburg, VA, Brian K., husband of Lisa Groves of Reston, VA, Wendy M. Groves, wife of Linda Donohue of Neshanic Station, NJ, and Stephanie L., wife of Elliott Segelbaum of Hatboro, PA; eleven grandchildren; one brother, Daryl, husband of Kathleen Groves of NC; Ann's three children, Jennifer, wife of Morano Capone of Limerick, PA, Sharon Walker, wife of Frank Giordano of Philadelphia, PA, and Nathan, husband of Amy Walker of North Wales, PA; and Ann's nine grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Burial will be held privately in the Tohickon Union Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribuitons may be made in his name to the Meals on Wheels of Montgomery County, payable to Family Services, 3125 Ridge Pike, Eagleville, PA 19403.
