Barry L. Peppel, age 76, beloved husband of Jeanne L. (Riegel) Peppel of Limerick, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2008, in the Phoenixville Hospital.? His first wife, Dolores (Campbell) Peppel passed away in 1992.? Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Leon B. and Isabel (Heinbach) Peppel.?
Mr. Peppel was a 1949 graduate of Phoenixville High School, attended Penn State University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, from Temple University..? He was employed as an accountant with Cappelletti and Pinter Associates in Pottstown, for many years until his retirement.? He served in the United States Navy.? Mr. Peppel was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Phoenixville and the Phoenix Lodge #75 F&AM, and was in bowling leagues at Phoenix Lanes for many years.? Mr. Peppel was an avid golfer, was a Eagles and Penn State fan, and enjoyed his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great grandson.?
In addition to his wife, Mr. Peppel is survived by daughter Diane L. Peppel of Pottstown, sons David B. Peppel of Caln and Alan L. Peppel of Orlando, FL, step-daughter Lisa D. D'Annunzio of Lancaster, step-son Richard M. March of West Brandywine, grandchildren Joshua Peppel, Brennan March, and Kasey March, and great-grandson Brendan Peppel.? He was preceded in death by a son Glenn L. Peppel.?
