Beatrice H. Schofield, 98, of Upper Providence, passed away at Sanatoga Center, Lower Pottsgrove on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. She was the wife of the late Royle L. Schofield who died in 1978.

She was born in Phoenixville, the daughter of the late Ross R. and Alice (Hahn) Deininger. She was a homemaker and member of Church of the Epiphany, Royersford, PA. She was also involved in the Merry Widows, Deborah and Red Hat Ladies.

The last of her generation, she was preceded in death by a brother, George S. Deininger. Though they had no children, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Epiphany, Third Avenue and Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Officiating will be the pastor, Rev. Jennie M. Anderson. Calling time is from 10-11 AM. Interment to follow in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are encouraged to the church memorial fund.
