Bernadette S. (Creasy) Brungess, age 79, wife of Earl S. Brungess of East Coventry, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 in the Paoli Hospital, surrounded by family. Born in Wilkes Barre, she was a daughter of the late Vera (Brennan) and Fred Creasy.

A 1961 graduate of Spring-Ford High School, she married Earl on Christmas Eve in 1966 and they were happily married for 55 years. Bernadette had been employed at Diamond Glass, Superior Tube, and later with an immense love for kids, volunteered as a teacher's aide at East Coventry and Vincent Elementary Schools, in the Owen J. Roberts School District.

She was a long-time member of Brownback's United Church of Christ, where she sang in the choir, was a member of the bell choir, taught Sunday school and served as sexton.

Bernadette lived to make others feel special. She loved to decorate, and buy special trinkets and gifts for others. She enjoyed traveling, especially trips to the Bahamas, time spent at the beach and taking bus trips with her friends. She also enjoyed dining out with her husband and friends at restaurants. She was happiest when everyone was together.

In addition to her loving husband, Bernadette is survived by her daughters: Barbara Brungess, Rebecca, wife of Thomas Ammon and Amy, wife of John Meravi; grandchildren: Jacob and Emma Linsenbigler; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Jim Creasy, Mary Frankenfield, Patsy Fisher and Frederick Creasy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Brownback's United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road, Spring City on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Susan Hanson. Interment will follow in the Brownback's Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:30 AM-10:45 AM at the Church. Valet parking will be available, and a luncheon will be served at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in Bernadette's name to Foundation Fighting Blindness.
