Bernice M. (Rowland) Love, 90, of Boyertown and formerly of North Coventry passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Chestnut Knoll. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Love Sr. She was born in Phoenixville to the late Albanus and Fannie (Brower) Rowland.

Mrs. Love was a 1936 graduate of Phoenixville High School and was later employed in the office at McAvoy Brick. She was a member of Green Tree Church of the Brethren. Mrs. Love was an avid reader and she always made sure that her family was taken care of.

Bernice is survived by two sons: Robert J. Jr., husband of Joy P. Love, of Eutawville, SC and Rowland A., husband of Barbara L. Love, of South Coventry; five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Road, P.O. Box 874, Oaks, PA 19456. Officiating will be Rev. J. Rodney O'Donnell. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church memorial fund or to Caring Hospice, 400 Commerce Ave, Suite C, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
