Betty Jane (Auman) Buckwalter, age 83, wife of the late Richard D. Buckwalter of Spring City, formerly of Royersford, PA died Wednesday morning, September 15, 2010 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late George W. Auman and Catherine Auman. She was a graduate of the Pottstown High School. Mrs. Buckwalter was a life member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and the Phoenixville Moose. She was a fan of racing for over 55 years and enjoyed the time she spent at the races with her family. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame for ¼ midgets in 2008.

Mrs. Buckwalter is survived by six children; Richard D. (Nancy) Buckwalter, Jr., Gary J. (Joanne Neizer) Buckwalter, Bruce D. (Veronica) Buckwalter, Sandy C. (Wilson) Cooper, Brian L. (Viktoria) Buckwalter, Judith (Jack Mourar) Bates, fifteen grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a sister, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Buckwalter was pre-deceased by one son; Roger Alan "Burma" Buckwalter, and one grandson; Richie Buckwalter.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 10:30AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Janelle L. Krais. Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 7-8:30PM Sunday evening or from 9:30-10:30AM Monday morning at the funeral home.
