Betty Jane (Wright) DePietropaolo, 82, of Spring City , died on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Natale A. DePietropaolo, who died on Jan. 10, 2008. They celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Born in Royersford, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Carrie (Folk) Wright.
Betty Jane graduated from Royersford High School in 1943.
During World War II, she served with the USO in Phoenixville. Mrs. DePietropaolo had been employed by Bell Telephone, Floyd and Wells and retired from Phoenixville Area School District.
Mrs. DePietropaolo was a lifelong active and devoted member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. She was also a member of the St. Joseph's Women's Group. Her most enjoyment came from time spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is survived by three children, Wayne M. DePietropaolo of Florida, Wanda C. and her husband Dale Heffner of Florida, and Tina M. and her husband, Chistopher Damron of Maryland; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Trythall of East Coventry.
Her funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City. Officiating will be the Rev. Charles R. O'Hara.
Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday evening at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, or on Friday morning at the church from 9:30 to 10 a.m. There will be no viewing at the funeral home on Friday morning.
