Betty A. (Shaner) Leeck, age 92, of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in her residence. Born on December 4, 1930, in East Vincent Township, she was a daughter of the late Ruth Evelyn (Kline) and Norman Merl Shaner.

A licensed practical nurse who loved nursing, Betty had been employed at the Johnson Home, in Royersford and later at Pottstown Hospital. She taught herself how to play the piano and how to decorate cakes and would later sell wedding cakes.

Betty was a Jehovah's Witness and loved life. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she even had a nickname for each of them.

Betty is survived by her children: Edward O. McWilliams Jr., Vickie L., wife of Paul Nold and Michael M. Leeck; two sisters: Norma Turner and Roberta Gottshall; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Edward O. McWilliams Sr.; second husband: Manuel M. Leeck; son: John K. McWilliams; and three sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 11:00 am, at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.
