Beverly J. ElAmma, age 74, of Perkiomenville, PA, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at home following a valiant six-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on June 11, 1948 in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Jean E. (Jeffers) Detwiler.

Beverly was a 1966 graduate of Phoenixville High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Kentucky University and went on to complete her Master's degree from Villanova University. She retired as a Senior Scientist, working her entire career for Rohm & Haas prior to it's merger with Dow Chemical. Beverly was a faithful member of the Faith Church of Worcester. She enjoyed sewing and knitting, was a great home cook, and even tried her hand at gardening. Over the years, she used her carpentry skills to build and decorate her home. She was a skilled pianist, and in her youth, she took singing lessons, oftentimes singing the National Anthem at the Babe Ruth ballpark. Beverly was an avid tennis player and traveler. She lived her life to the fullest, and she loved spending time with her family, including her dogs, especially Bella.

Beverly is survived by two children, Christina L. ElAmma and Jennifer A., wife of Patrick Williams; two grandchildren, Michael A. Hulliger and Allyson N. Hulliger; three sisters, Barbara E., wife of Michael Lee, Virginia A., wife of Harry Long, and Patricia A. Trainer; and five nieces and nephews, Shelly, Kelley, Madeline, Jimmy, and Max. She was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas L. Detwiler.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Faith Church of Worcester, 1341 Quarry Hall Road, Norristown, PA 19403 on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Pastor Paul Sheaffer. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the Church on Friday morning.
