Bobby R. Johns, age 85, husband of the late Patricia A. (Smith) Johns of Royersford, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at home. Born on October 20, 1937 in Clifton Forge, VA, he was a son of the late Teddy and Ethel (Braham) Johns.

Mr. Johns was a 1958 graduate of Eagle Rock High School in Eagle Rock, VA. He worked for 27 years at Matlack, Inc., followed by RCC Communications and John Wensel's Truck and Repair Shop.

Although Mr. Johns worked as a dry bulk truck driver by trade, he also loved just taking a drive and oftentimes took road trips for fun. He most enjoyed the trips back to his hometown in Virginia, where he looked forward to his yearly class reunions. He also liked to make stops at car lots and look at trucks for sale. He was a fan of watching western movies. Affectionately, he was very attentive to details, was set in his ways, and liked when things were accomplished in a particular manner.

Mr. Johns is survived by five children, Bobby Jr., husband of Dianne Johns, Jeanette Johns, Kathy, wife of Anthony Rocco, Karyn Johns, wife of Chris Roberts, and Kimberly, wife of Mike Fugate; four step-children, Brenda Cox, Ken Jr., husband of Kim Cox, David, husband of Michelle Cox, and Tammy, wife of Vinnie Carbone; twenty grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Queenie Clark and Goldie Hambrick; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by eight siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Pastor John Shantz. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Spring City Fellowship Church, 540 Glass Avenue, Spring City, PA 19475.
