Obituary

If you knew Brandon D. Schumacher, you’d know he was never late. So when the time came on Saturday, November 16, 2019 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, Brandon, true to form, passed away on time.

Brandon’s knack for time and his incredible memory served him best at the job he loved in the cafeteria at West Chester University. But his love didn’t stop there. Brandon’s joy and smile were infectious. From Special Olympics bowling to the local grocery store and especially his favorite camp, Bournelyf, no one was immune to his laugh and charm. Brandon’s outgoing personality, generosity and wonderful heart, coined him the title of “Mayor.”

Brandon was an avid sports fan and loved everything Eagles, Phillies, Villanova Wildcats and the West Chester Golden Rams.

Brandon was born on June 6, 1981 in Phoenixville. He was the son of Alison and Steven Schumacher. In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by his sister, Kristen Schumacher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Church of the Loving Shepherd, 1066 South New Street, West Chester, PA.
