Brian L. Kronen, age 50, husband of Donna R. (Lutz) Kronen, of Harleysville, PA, formerly of Horsham and Warminster, died suddenly on Thursday morning, November 1, 2007 in the Central Montgomery Medical Center.? Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Elmer L. Kronen and the late Margaret E. (Maguire) Kronen.? Mr. Kronen worked as a meat manager for the Acme supermarkets for over 32 years.? He worked for Acme in many locations including Paoli, Phoenixville, and King of Prussia.? He retired from Acme in 2006.? More recently, Mr. Kronen had been working for the Merck & Company in West Point.?? Mr. Kronen was devoted to his wife and children all of his life.? He and his wife celebrated their 30 wedding anniversary in November 2006.? His life revolved around his children and all of their activities, including coaching the Harleysville Hurricanes soccer team.?? He was also their CYO soccer coach at St. Mary's R.C. Church in Schwenksville for many years.? His final year of coaching he led the team to the Regional Championship.?

In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Kronen is survived by his three children; Keith B. Kronen of Limerick, Rebecca R., wife of Jarred S. Badman of Gilbertsville, and Gregory L. Kronen of Harleysville.? Mr. Kronen is also survived by one sister, one brother, and several nieces and nephews.?

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, Derstine and Cannon Avenues, Lansdale, PA 19446 on Tuesday morning, November 6,2007 at 10:30AM.? Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.? Friends will be received from 6:00 - 9:00PM Monday evening at the funeral home.? Memorial gifts may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, 625 West Ride Avenue, Conshohocken, PA 19438, or to the American Cancer Society, 700 Horizon Circle,Suite 201, Chalfont, PA 18914.?
