Brian Ward, age 54, husband of Gwendolyn J. (Levengood) Ward, of Royersford, PA, died Sunday, November 27, 2016, in the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, from surgical complications. Born on January 10, 1962, in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of Marquise and Judith (Herbison) Ward, of Royersford, PA. He was a 1980 graduate of Spring-Ford High School and a 1984 graduate of Penn State University. He was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Royersford. Mr. Ward enjoyed traveling, particularly to National Parks around the country. His most recent trip was to Amsterdam with his family. He also enjoyed gardening, and volunteered for the Adult Literacy Program in Pottstown, PA.

In addition to his wife of 28 years, Mr. Ward is survived by daughter, Emily J. Ward of Rochester, NY; son, Colin M. Ward of Philadelphia, PA; four brothers, Michael D., husband of Maureen Ward of Limerick, PA, Kevin, husband of Beverly Ward of Cape Coral, FL, Mark, husband of Andrea Ward of Warminster, PA, Shawn, husband of Lisa Ward of Royersford, PA; two sisters, Sharon Ward of Pueblo, CO, and Michelle, wife of David O'Sullivan of Eagleville, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford, PA, on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Rev. Peter J. DiMaria. Burial will be held privately in Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard, Valley Forge Park, PA. Friends will be received from 6:30-8:00 pm Wednesday at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA, or from 9:00-10:15 am Thursday morning at the Church.
