Brian A. Watson Jr., age 26, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Born on March 1, 1996 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Brian A. and Suzanne (Grady) Watson.

Brian was a 2014 graduate of Phoenixville High School, and attended Montgomery County Community College and West Chester University. He worked as a Bridge Construction Inspector for Traffic Planning and Design, where he received multiple inspector certifications during his employment.

Brian volunteered his time with the homeless in Philadelphia, as well by helping displaced residents from Hurricane Ida. He had a huge heart, always put others first, and could always be counted on by his family and friends.

He loved spending time with his friends and family, but also cherished the time he spent with his grandparents, and provided care for both of his grandmothers. He was a devoted son, brother, and friend, unwaveringly loyal to those he loved and he was the type of person who would drop everything to help others.

Brian was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and also especially enjoyed University of Michigan football. He was overjoyed to celebrate with his dad after the Wolverines beat Ohio State for the first time in a decade, then won the Big Ten Championship.

He lived his life by unquestionably following his heart, brightening the life of every person who had the privilege to know him.

In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by one sister, Erin A. Watson (Justin Cullen) of Royersford, PA; one niece, Evelina Romano; aunts, Margaret (Patrick) Collins, Caroline (Jeffrey) Richards, and Suzanne Marchetti; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Patricia Watson and Norbert Watson, and his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Storm and James Grady.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at St. Basil the Great R.C. Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, PA on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will follow in the West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30 am - 10:45 am Friday at the church.
