Dr. Bruce C. Hood, 62, of Phoenixville, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2009, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in the Bronx, NY, he was a son of Caroline (Schuh) Hood, of Pipersville, and the late Charles Hood.
Dr. Hood was a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He was the owner of Phoenixville Chiropractic Center for 30 years, and was a truck driver for ACME. A very hard worker, Dr. Hood was devoted to his children and family, and his work.
In addition to his mother, Dr. Hood is survived by daughters, Suzanne V., wife of Daniel Geier, of Fleetwood, and Deena M., wife of Joshua Alexander, of Kennesaw, GA, son, Jason C. Hood, fianc? of Jessica Clifford, of Phoenixville, sister, Patricia Benson, of Pipersville, brothers, William Hood, of Florida and David Hood, of NJ, and two grandchildren, Ryan Williams and Seth Alexander.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home,600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Eva Johnson. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
