Calvin D. "Mike" Strunack, 84, passed away Friday afternoon in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Splatt) Strunack, Mr. Strunack was a member of St. Aloysious Roman Catholic Church in Pottstown. A veteran, he served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a mechanic at the former Hoffman Auto & Electric Repair. Mr. Strunack was a lifetime member of the Pottstown American Legion Post.

Mr. Strunack is survived by four children, including daughters, Sherry Davidson, Cindy, wife of Thomas Powanda, Tammy Klotzbach, and son Michael John Strunack. Mr. Strunack is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers: George and Robert Strunack.

Funeral services will be private and arrangements are being handled by the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home Inc., Main Street and Fifth Aveneue, Phoenixville, PA. Burial will be in the Pottstown Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com
