Carl R. Berkey, age 63, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at home. Born on April 18, 1957 in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Charles and Bertha (Kulp) Berkey.

Mr. Berkey was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. He was an auto body technician, working for Service King in Collegeville, PA. He loved working outside, restoring cars, and traveling to Nags Head, NC with his family.

Mr. Berkey is survived by two children, Connor R. Berkey and Sarah G. Berkey, both of Pottstown, along with their mother, Jean A. Dempsey of Pottstown, PA; eight siblings, Mabel Fries, Patricia Mahr, Charles Berkey, Jr., Gloria Bauer, Bertha Brandt, David Berkey, Mary Keller, and Debbie Coffman; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral ceremony at the Mountain View Chapel, 68 Old Douglass Dr., Douglassville, PA on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Pastor Chris Eshleman. Burial will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Pottstown, PA. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 11:00 am Thursday at the Mountain View Chapel.
