Carlos R. Estrada De Leon, age 36, husband of Rebeca M. Estrada Salazar, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 in the Reading Hospital. Born on January 23, 1988, in Suchitepequez, Mazatenango, Guatemala, he was a son of Rene Estrada Vidal and the late Marina De Leon.
Carlos immigrated to the United States 16 years ago looking for the American Dream. He met his wife and grew their family with two children. Growing up, he learned from his parents the meaning of "hustle and bustle" and hard work. He loved his job and continued what he learned from his parents and Guatemalan culture and brought his own hard work to the carpentry and construction industry. Carlos was driven and eager to learn new trades to better himself for his family.
Carlos was passionate about fishing, learned how to work on cars often offering this ability to his friends, enjoyed hunting, and loved soccer, but most importantly, family was his priority.
In addition to his loving wife and father, Carlos is survived by his children: Jessica Estrada and Abraham Estrada; and siblings: Berta Estrada and David Estrada.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday evening, January 13, 2025, at 7:30 pm, at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Officiating will be Pastor Adiel Castro. Friends will be received from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM. Interment will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 12:00 pm in East Vincent U.C.C. Cemetery.
