Carol A. (Grater) Geist, 67, of Spring City, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2009, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Bryn Mawr, she was a daughter of Dorothy (Donahue) Grater of Royersford and the late Christian Grater.

Ms. Geist was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Spring City. She enjoyed trips to the beach and spent many years taking care of her mother.

Ms. Geist is survived by her daughter, Debra L., wife of Scott Buzzard, of Lancaster, sons, Mark W., husband of Sandra A. Geist, of Royersford, and Steven C., husband of Jennifer L. Geist, of Royersford, brother, Christian Grater Jr., of Royersford, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Judy Yerger.
