Carol Ann (Buzzard) Lawley, age 70, wife of the late Michael D. Lawley of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025, in her residence. Born on March 22, 1955, in Corby, England, she was a daughter of the late Joan (Fawcett) and Phillip Buzzard.
Carol retired from Coresource, in Wayne, where she cherished her co-workers, which became more like family. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the King of Prussia VFW Post 7878 and loved baking and tending to her gardens. Carol loved attending and hosting outdoor parties, had a crazy sense of humor and was known to throw parties that included professional impersonators.
Carol maintained her old English culture and held strong to some of her passions, which included old English films, dinners and foods, and tea times, however, she was very proud of gaining her American citizenship in 1999. She was very independent, didn't ask for anything from anyone, was always there for others, and was the kindest, most generous, and loving person someone would ever meet. She never wanted anyone to make a fuss about her. Most importantly, Carol loved her family and made sure to text or facetime her sister in England daily. After her daughter passed away, she continued a special love for her granddaughter, Laci. Words can't express how much Carol will be missed by her family.
Carol is survived by two daughters: Joanne, wife of Simon Wass and Sarah, wife of Daniel Velez; grandchildren: Laci, Danny, Ricky, Stacey, Danny, Jamie, Mikey and Jordan; great-grandsons: Cole, Theo, Lucas and Logan; sister: Diane Kemp; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Michelle K. "Shelley" Rymarowicz.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:30 am, at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 Main Street, Phoenixville.
