Catherine T. (Maloney) Dungee, age 85, of Phoenixville, PA, died early Saturday morning, July 31, 2010 in her home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Peter F. and Bessie (McCabe) Maloney. Mrs. Dungee was a graduate of the St. Edward's High School in Philadelphia. She was co-owner of the following restaurants; Cass's Bar in Philadelphia, Stable's Bar in Charlestown Township, Cloud 9 Bar in Phoenixville, The Flowing Springs Inn in Warwick Township, and the Checker Board Inn in Collegeville. She enjoyed playing Bingo with her family and friends in Kimberton and Phoenixville. Mrs. Dungee also enjoyed cruises and going to the casinos.
Mrs. Dungee is survived by nine children; JoAnne Zamulinske, Kathleen, wife of Donald Miller, Diane Moses, companion of Harry Chrisman, William, husband of Marlyn Dungee, James Dungee, companion of Jan Nolan, Paul Dungee, Francis, husband of Cheryl Dungee, John, husband of Mary Jo Dungee, Rosemary Dungee, two sisters; Helen Gerth, Joan Decker, nineteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dungee was pre-deceased by two sons; Rudolph F. Dungee, Richard Dungee, one grandson; Tracy Allen Moses, two brothers and two sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday morning, August 4, 2010 at 11;30AM. Burial will be held privately in the East Vincent United Church of Christ Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7:00-8:30PM Tuesday evening or from 10:30-11:30AM Wednesday morning at the funeral home.
