Catherine E. Janssen, age 81, Wife of the late James Janssen of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John Greenjack.

Cathy was a graduate of Collingdale High School, Hahnemann Hospital School of Radiologic Technology and Widener University. She had a long and successful career in the field of Radiology working as the department administrator at several hospitals.

Cathy loved the beach, especially Ocean City, New Jersey and Marco Island, Florida where she and her husband Jim lived for several years. She was an avid reader and an active bowler until she became ill. She enjoyed her Tuesday bowling league at the Bowlero Limerick. She valued her lifelong friendships with her "Club" girls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Janssen, her father, John Greenjack and her brothers Jack Greenjack (Alberta), Thomas Greenjack (Barbara) and Richard Greenjack (Sandy).

Cathy is survived by her stepdaughters, Patricia Mecca (Bill) and Lynne Brown (Steve) who cared for her during her illness, her grandchildren, Billy Mecca (Arriel), Jackie Mecca (Chris Griffin), Kathleen Mecca, Marialynne Brown and her great grandchildren Billy, Vinny and Giuliana Mecca as well as her three sisters in law and her nieces and nephews.
