Cecilia V. Venezia
October 18, 1941 - July 1, 2022

Cecilia "Cis" Venezia was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away on July 1, 2022 at Pottstown Memorial Hospital.

Beloved wife of James C. Venezia, they settled in Royersford, and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past June 23rd. Together they had three children, Jacqueline Fortmann (Tom), James Venezia, and Thomas Venezia (Colleen). She is also survived by her sister Anne Brish, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members.

Cissy was born on October 18, 1941 in Norristown, to the late Salvatore and Anne JanFrancisco (Jameison). She graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown in 1959.

As a young girl, Cis loved spending time with her friends and even danced on Dick Clark's American Bandstand. After graduation, she worked as a bookkeeper prior to marrying Jim and raising their family.

Cis was quiet, warm, and caring. She didn't like to make waves, but she would also let her opinion be known if the situation called for it. She was patient and very devoted to her family, and her dining room table was open to everyone who stopped by. Cis was also known to be an avid Phillies fan.
