Charles D. Close, age 94, husband of the late Barbara (Walsh) Close, of Audubon, PA, died Sunday morning, September 6, 2009 in the Shannondell at Valley Forge. Mr. Close was born in Philadelphia. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Drexell University. Mr. Close worked as an electrical engineer. He was an entrepreneur and was involved with many businesses / industries in the area throughout his life. He enjoyed skiing, music and science. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Cedarbrook Country Club.

Mr. Close is survived by Three Sons; Rodney (Lori) Close, Eric (Kelly) Close, Kent (Lorraine) Close, Seven Grandchildren. Mr. Close was pre-deceased by One Son; Richard Close.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue. Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 2pm. Burial will be private. Friends may call from 1-2pm Thursday afternoon at the funeral home.
