Charles P. Hafner, Jr., age 56, of Spring City, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 in LifeCare Hospitals of Chester County.

Born on August 30, 1960 in Norristown, he was a son of the late Charles P. Hafner Sr. and Cynthia (Babacz) Hafner, of Royersford. He was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School class of 1978.

Throughout his adult life, Charles maintained a positive and grateful attitude. He kept his sense of humor and his independence. He loved spending time with his family and lifetime friends. He was also a talented high school wrestler, swimmer and diver. He loved watching Penn State Football, Nascar and Tennis. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, nature and being outdoors as well as going on hiking trails.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by Son, Charles P. (fiance to Jill Polinski) Hafner III of Collegeville; Brother, Ken J. Hafner of Pleasanton, CA; Great-granddaughter, Kayla DiGiacomo; and his Fiance, Rita Mandik of Collegeville, PA. Mr. Hafner was also pre-deceased by a Sister, Carolyn Hafner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at First United Church of Christ, 367 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Kate Davidheiser. Burial will be held in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, Pennsylvania. Friends will be received from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, PA and on Wednesday from 10-11 am at the church.
