Charles E. "Chick" Lyle, age 83, longtime resident of Royersford, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in the Manatawny Manor, Pottstown, PA. Born on June 26, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pa, he was a son of the late William C. and Cora E. (Lentz) Lyle.

Chick worked and retired from the Philadelphia Gear Company. He enjoyed art, owned several horses through the years and had a passion for horseback riding with friends, and he loved his dogs.

Chick is survived by his sisters: Molly, wife of James Reber and Linda Nicholas; his brothers: David, husband of the late Linda Lyle and Thomas, husband of Janice Lyle; his sister-in-law Kathy Lyle; and fourteen nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Robert Lyle, William Lyle and John Lyle; and one nephew.

A private graveside service will take place in Fernwood Cemetery in Royersford, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to your local fire company or a charity of your choosing. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home.
