Charles R. Miller Jr., 83, of Upper Pottsgrove, husband of Dorothy C. (Schrag) Miller passed away on Friday morning at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Bayonne, NJ he was a son of the late Frances (Luick) and Charles R. Miller Sr. Mr. Miller was a graduate of Nutley H.S. in Nutley NJ and Seton Hall University.

Mr. Miller served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Miller resided most of his life in Asheville NC, recently moving here to be close to his family. He loved animals including his cats Ellie & Charcoal. He enjoyed reading, and spending time with his family especially his two granddaughters Tatiana and Chloe.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by a daughter Michelle wife of Jeff Kern of Rockaway New Jersey, son Scott Miller of Upper Pottsgrove, two Granddaughters Tatiana and Chloe Miller of Boyertown, and sister, Marilyn Miller, Livingston, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Mr. Miller on Thursday morning, March 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St. Royersford, PA 19468.

It was Mr. Miller's wishes that in lieu of flowers contributions be made in his name to the Manna Food Bank, 627 Swannanoa River Rd.
