Charles T. Nold, age 80, husband of Carol R. (Nurnberg) Nold, of Royersford, PA died Saturday afternoon, January 24, 2015 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown, PA. Born in Brackenridge, PA he was a son of the late Thomas G. and Ida M. (Oliver) Nold. He was a 1953 graduate of the Royersford High School. Mr. Nold worked for Phillips Knitting Company and Stanley Tool in Royersford. He retired from the A&L Handles in Pottstown, PA in 2004. Mr. Nold played the guitar for several bands in the area. He loved to go fishing with family and friends. He was a WWII aviation enthusiast and also enjoyed learning about steam engine trains.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, Mr. Nold is survived by three children: Kathleen D. Nold, of Spring City; David M., husband of Tina M. (Herb) Nold, of Bechtelsville, PA; Karen D. Nold-Conley, of Atlanta, GA; three siblings: Joyce, wife of Jerry Furstnau, of Saint Peters Paul, husband of Vickie Nold, of Royersford; Gary, husband of Ann Nold, of North Coventry; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the Conservation Acquisition Partnership program.
