Charles F. O'Brien, age 95, husband of Mary B. (Cappadona) O'Brien, of Limerick, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 in Pottstown Hospital. Born on September 13, 1926, in Camden, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Helen (Hewitt) and Charles F. O'Brien Sr.
Charles was a graduate of Camden High School. A member of the IBEW 126, he had been employed as an electrical lineman for over 65 years and at one time served as the Union Treasurer. Charles was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Spring City. He loved gardening, thoroughbred horse racing and was a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Notre Dame. Most importantly, Charles loved time spent with his family.
In addition to his loving wife of 67 years, Charles is survived by his children: Michael O'Brien, and his wife Lynn, of Exeter, Charles O'Brien, and his wife Robin, of Exeter, Karen Garland, and her husband William, of Phoenixville, Marlene Cox, and her husband Joe, of Exeter and Vincent O'Brien, and his wife Lynn, of Oley; sister: Mary Murray, of Limerick; fifteen grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 11:00 am, at St. Ann Cemetery, 305 W. Pothouse Road, Phoenixville. Officiating will be Rev. Charles R. O'Hara.
