Charlotte V. (Douglass) Thim, age 82, wife of the late Arthur W. Thim Sr., of Harleysville, PA, formerly Oaks, PA, passed away on Saturday evening, February 25, 2012 at Peter Becker Community. Born and raised in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Raysor) Douglass; and sister of the late Dorothy "Dot" Storti.

Mrs. Thim was a member of the Green Tree Church of the Brethren and the Order of the Eastern Star. She attended Norristown High School. She was a very devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved any opportunity for a family gathering. She also loved music and dancing, cooking, baking, crocheting, and was a member of a bowling team. She was glad to lend a helping hand whenever she could. Her family and friends were very important to her.

Mrs. Thim is survived by one daughter, Darlene, wife of Michael Pastrick of Phoenixville; three sons, Bruce, husband of Barbara Thim of North Coventry, Edward, husband of Kathi Thim of East Coventry, Arthur W. "Bill" Jr., husband of Lisa Thim of Lansdale; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Also, survived by her sisters-in-law, Marge (and Joe) McCoach of Gilbertsville, Sandy (and Bob) Hagarty of Ridley Park, and brother-in-law Bob (and Barbara) Thim of Florida; eight nieces, and three nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on at the Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Road, Oaks, PA 19456 on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. David A. Leiter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with a reception to follow. Friends will be received at the church from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in her name to the Green Tree Church of the Brethren.
