Obituary

Charlotte E. (Stott) Wenger, wife of Lloyd M. Wenger, of Phoenixville, PA died suddenly at home on Tuesday evening, November 9, 2010. Mrs. Wenger was born December 10, 1924. She was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Rachel G. (Gamble) Stott. She graduated from Phoenixville High School. She was the owner of the Knick-Knack Shop in St. Peter's Village for over 13 years. Mrs. Wenger was a long-term member of the Green Tree Church of the Brethren.

In addition to her husband of 68 years, Mrs. Wenger is survived by three children; Marie, wife of James Barnette, of Perkiomenville, Greta, wife of John Smithson, of Randolph, NH, Lloyd M. Wenger, Jr., of Houston, TX, four grandchildren; Craig and Douglas Barnette, Geoffrey Smithson, Jill Smithson Poulin, two great-grandchildren; Brady and Boyd Poulin, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wenger was pre-deceased by one brother; Vernon Stott.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Road, Oaks, PA on Tuesday morning, November 16, 2010 at 10:30AM. Officiating will be the Rev. David A. Leiter. Burial will be in the Church cemetery. Friends will be received from 9-10:15 Tuesday morning at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Green Tree Church of the Brethren, P.O. Box 874, Oaks, PA 19456.
