Christie Ivan Cruz, age 47, husband of Annette E. (Esposito) Cruz, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021. Born on June 28, 1973 in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of Telesforo Cruz, of Temecula, CA and the late Joseria (Dionisio) Cruz.

Chris had been employed as a computer analyst in the Information Technology department at The Vanguard Group for over 20 years, where he was recognized by his co-workers as a valued team member and known as a "go to" and a problem solver.

Chris was a gentle, quiet and warm hearted man. He always brought love and laughter everywhere he went and had a close-knit group of "life-long" buddies from his early years.

Chris had a love of table tennis and spending time with family. Most importantly, he was a devoted father who always looked forward to Daddy and Bella time.

In addition to his loving wife and father, Chris is survived by his daughter: Isabella C. Cruz, of Phoenixville; sister: Emilie, wife of Jim Morgan, of Pottstown; nephew: Everett James; and a large loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:00 am. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chris's name to the National Kidney Foundation.
