Christine M. (Nagele) Palmer, age 61, loving wife of Richard J. "Rick" Palmer, of Audubon, PA, died Monday afternoon, January 4, 2010 in her home in Wayne, PA. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William A. Nagele, Jr. and Mildred S. (Spang) Nagele. She attended the Norristown High School and was a graduate of the Conestoga High School. Mrs. Palmer received her degree in mathematics from the Eastern University. She taught in the Math Department at the Perkiomen Valley School District for over 30 years before retiring in 2005. Mrs. Palmer was a very active member of the Green Tree Church of the Brethren in Oaks, PA, where she served in a variety of functions including; Director of Youth Ministry, and teaching Sunday School. Her love of education and children shown forth in all that she did, especially spending time with her grandchildren

In addition to her husband of 34 years, Mrs. Palmer is survived by; One Daughter; Jennifer L. Palmer, of Wayne, PA, Two Sons; Stephen C. husband of Lisa (McCabe) Palmer, of West Chester, PA, David J. Palmer, husband of Susannah Bortner, of Brooklyn, NY, One Brother; Paul W. Nagele, of Niskayuna, NY, Five Grandchildren; Christopher M., Brieanna E., Sarah D., Jaimie L. Palmer, and Donovan J. Bortner-Palmer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Road, Oaks, PA 19456 on Saturday morning, January 9, 2010 at 10:30AM. Officiating will be the Rev. David A. Leiter. Burial will `` be in the Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:00 - 10:15AM, Saturday morning at the Church.
