Claudia Marie Hood Bradshaw, age 94, of Limerick, Pennsylvania, passed away
peacefully on April 20, 2026, with her family by her side.
Born on March 29, 1932, in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of Mary Swinson Hood
and James Walton Hood. Claudia grew up in the Norfolk area and graduated from Maury
High School, where she met the love of her life, Tom Bradshaw. She later attended
Longwood College, where she developed an interest in architecture. She and Tom soon
married, and she devoted herself to creating a warm and loving home for her family. They
shared a remarkable 70-year marriage until Tom's passing in 2022.
Claudia and Tom were devoted parents to their three children: Mary Barnett (Dave), Charles
"Brad" Bradshaw, Jr. (Pam), and Jim Bradshaw (Kelly). She was a proud and loving
grandmother to Robert, Becki, Ashley, Alex (Kaylan), Michael (Julia), Eden, and Will, and a
cherished great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren.
Claudia was a talented seamstress who enjoyed a wide variety of crafts throughout her life,
continuing well into her later years. She and Tom shared a love of travel, particularly
throughout Europe, but her favorite place was their vacation home in Duck, on the Outer
Banks of North Carolina. There, she created countless treasured memories with her
children and grandchildren, passing on her deep love of the beach to future generations.
She also enjoyed playing bridge and other card games, working jigsaw and crosswordpuzzles, entertaining friends and family, gardening, and giving generously of her timethrough volunteer work. Claudia volunteered for many years at a dental clinic serving those in need. She also served as a church secretary at First Baptist Church of Malvern, where she and Tom were faithful members for more than fifty years. A woman of strong and abiding faith, she read her Bible daily, and her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace with her Lord.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at Arcadia at Limerick
Pointe for their years of compassionate care and support for both Claudia and Tom.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home. A
celebration of Claudia's life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be shared online

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to

Claudia will be remembered for her quiet strength, gentle kindness, and the
unwavering love she gave so freely to her family and friends.
