COLLIN OTT
September 22, 1934 - November 27, 2021

Collin Ott, age 87, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Brandywine Hospital after a short illness. Born in Sumneytown, PA and raised in Schwenksville, Collin was one of 12 children. He was the son of the late Daniel and Esther (Wallace) Ott.

Mr. Ott served in the US Navy, taking Metal Smith Courses, which led him to becoming a Welder. He served from 1952 to 1956, part of that time was on the USS DONNER. Collin loved the outdoors. He would always go hiking and look for fossils or interesting rocks. He was always working on something like making a rock sculpture or dragging a tree stump off a mountain. He lived in Colorado for many years, where he started 3 companies, the first was a landscaping company, a moving company, and lastly a paper supply company. He worked incredibly hard and sold all three.

Collin was a very religious man. He would inscribe the 10 Commandments and other biblical references on rocks. He even converted a shed into a church in Utah and would invite the neighbors for services.

He is survived by one son, Adam Ott, Houston, TX, (husband of Jenny), and one grandson, Kelley.

Collin is survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters, Richard, husband of Frances, (Phoenixville); Paul (Wernersville, PA); and James (Sayre, PA); Barbara, wife of Michael Gich, (Maitland, FL); Twin sister, Carol Jowder (Birdsboro, PA), and Judith Reynolds (Lancaster, PA) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Daniel Ott, Jean Wilson, Margaret Williams, Ruth Hogan, and Phyllis Bechtel.

Burial services will be private.
