Connie M. (Shick) Perdue, age 60, of East Coventry, PA, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2007, in the Manor Care Pottstown.? She was the wife of Larry E. Perdue.? Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of Donald Shick and the late Mary (Klinger) Shick.?
Mrs. Perdue was a 1965 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School.? She was a member of Brownback's U.C.C., Spring City, and was a choir director for the Royersford United Methodist Church.? ?She was employed in the inmate employment office at Graterford State Correctional Institution.? Mrs. Perdue enjoyed family trips to the shore, shopping, music, singing, playing the piano, and supported her grandchildren's activities.?
In addition to her husband of 39 years and father, Mrs. Perdue is survived by daughter, Diana, wife of Alan Salkovitz, of Gilbertsville, grand-daughter, Jordyn Salkovitz, grand-son, Jake Salkovitz,?sister, Dorothy Keck, of Spring City, and?four nieces and nephews.? She was?preceded in death by her?sister Molly Shick.?
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Brownback's United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road, Spring City, PA, on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 10:30 AM.? Officiating will be the Rev. Frank L. Lamson.? Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.? Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Church.?
