Cora Fay Bible, age 89, wife of the late John J. Christman and the late Jacob R. Bible, of the Keystone Villa at Douglassville, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in the Reading Hospital. Born on May 9, 1934 at home in East Vincent Township, she was a daughter of the late Clyde I. and Alice (Bare) Overdorf.

Fay attended and was a faithful member of St. Vincent United Church of Christ for the majority of her life. After relocating to the Douglassville area, she attended the Mountain View Chapel. She spent much of her life as a seamstress in many different capacities. She was able to touch a lot of lives, and meet a lot of people through her talents.

In addition to her love of sewing, she also enjoyed embroidery, reading, and keeping track of the Phillies. She loved spending time traveling in her motor home, where she and Jake spent winters in Florida and made countless friends in their camping group.

Most of all, Fay was proud of each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed attending
many of their activities.

Fay is survived by three children, Janet, wife of Chester Mosteller, Cynthia, wife of Robert Fries, and John, husband of Susan Christman; also predeceasing her a step-daughter, Sharon, wife of James Hollenbach. There are also ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; two siblings, Donna Vroman and Ronald Overdorf; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the St. Vincent United Church of Christ Cemetery, East Vincent Township. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Mountain View Chapel, 68 Old Douglass Drive, Douglassville, PA 19518 or to the St. Vincent United Church of Christ, 137 Ridge Rd, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
