Cortney Klumpp, age 37, of Philadelphia, PA, formerly of Limerick, PA, died Tuesday morning, May 21, 2013 in the Harston Hall Rehabilitation Center, Flourtown, PA after a very lengthy illness. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Jack J. Klumpp, of Pottstown, PA and the late Mary Ruth (Mundt) Klumpp. She was a graduate of the St. Pius X High School in Pottstown and the University of Scranton. Ms. Klumpp worked as a teacher in the Philadelphia School District for a number of years prior to her illness.
In addition to her father, Ms. Klumpp is survived by three siblings: Kadie A. Klumpp, of Limerick; Erin R. Klumpp, of Pottstown; John J., husband of Jennifer Klumpp, of New Jersey; one niece: Ava C. Klumpp; one nephew: Jack L. Klumpp.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford, PA on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 6:30 - 8:30PM Thursday evening at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA or from 9:00 - 10:15 AM Friday morning at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St. , New York, NY 10016.
