Dale B. Bainbridge, 72, husband of Diane (MacIntire) Bainbridge, of Limerick, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Harry and Edna (Showalter) Bainbridge.
Mr. Bainbridge was employed at Jones Motors, Scout Trucking, and RSM. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and the Spring City American Legion, having served in the United States Army. An outdoorsman, he loved yardwork and hunting. He loved going to Daniel O'Donnell concerts and was an avid Dale Earnhardt, Tony Stewart and NASCAR fan, but his grandchildren were his life.
In addition to his loving wife of 49 years, Mr. Bainbridge is survived by: his daughter: Lori wife of John Mellon IV, of Schwenksville; his son: Brian husband of Sue Bainbridge of Douglassville; sister: Deborah King of Blandon; brother: Melvin Bainbridge of Phoenixville; three grandchildren: John V, Justin, and Addison Mellon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother: George Bainbridge.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA, on Thursday, February 3, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with Bobbie Hoffman, Director of Discipling officiating.
