Daniel A. Lejeune, 75, husband of Margaret P. (Pearsall) Lejeune, of Phoenixville, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 in Brandywine Living at Upper Providence. Born on May 27, 1941 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late James Alfred and Mary (Looker) Lejeune.

Dan was a graduate of Newark High School and received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Delaware. He was the founder and developer of RiverCrest Golf Club and Preserve in Phoenixville. He was very active in networking and had been a member of several local Chamber of Commerce organizations and a former board member of the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy.

Dan was an avid golfer and loved to boat and sail. He especially loved time spent at his "special retreat" in Avalon, New Jersey.

In addition to his wife, Dan is survived by his children: Lisa, wife of Alexander Anthopoulos, of Phoenixville, Brandon, husband of Susan Lejeune, of Collegeville, Joshua, husband of Jodi Lejeune, of South Philadelphia, Jeremy, husband of Christine Lejeune, of Philadelphia and Seth, husband of Allison Lejeune, of Lansdale; grandchildren: Mia, Noah, Stefan, Christian, Justin, Lauren, Jane, Benjamin, Luke and Harvey; sisters: Susan, wife of Edward Cook, of Greer, SC and Victoria, wife of Gary Keith, of Bartlett, TN; son-in-law Dennis Vucenovic, of Telford, mother-in-law:, Margaret Pearsall, of Kimberton; sister-in-law: Kathy Lejeune of Newark, DE; and grandchildren: He was preceded in death by a daughter: Tina Vucenovic Lejeune; sister: Anne Mann; twin brother: Donald Lejeune; and brother: Steven Lejeune.

A celebration of Dan's life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 3:00 pm, at the RiverCrest Golf Club and Preserve, 100 Golf Club Drive, Phoenixville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:45 pm. Memorial contributions may be made in Dan's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
