Daniel N. Levengood, age 87, husband of Patricia A. (Ivens) Levengood, of Oaks and most recently Limerick, Pennsylvania passed into Glory on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 in the Southeastern Veterans' Center, Spring City. Born on April 23, 1939, in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Mary (Dean) and Daniel N. Levengood Sr.

A proud veteran, Daniel honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he dedicated 28 years to Stroehmann's Bakery as a dock loader, and spent roughly 30 years as a school bus driver for Custer's Garage.

Dan loved the Lord Jesus and attended Pawling Independent Baptist Church for many years, and later Tricounty Bible Church in Gilbertsville. Daniel was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. He was known as Poppy to his grandchildren. He was passionate about country music and classic cars. Alongside his beloved wife, he attended a countless number of concerts over the years, including but not limited to Willie Nelson and Charley Pride. Dan enjoyed car races and watched NASCAR racing on TV and attended races at the Grandview Speedway. Daniel also had an appreciation for older cars and went to many car shows. He also enjoyed watching professional wrestling and boxing, going to a few matches in person and even taking his children along with him.

In addition to his loving wife, Daniel is survived by his children: David Levengood and his wife Gayle, his daughter Dana (Levengood) Calamaro and her husband Joseph. Grandchildren: Joseph and his fiancée Arianna, Andrew and his fiancée Bella, Elizabeth, and Joshua. Sister: Marilyn, wife of Robert Kirkner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 11:00 AM, at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford. Officiating will be the Rev, Jacob Susek, Jr. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Daniel's name to the Southeastern Veterans' Center Welfare Fund, One Veterans Drive, Spring City, PA 19475.
