Darlyn G. (Folk) Lesher, 68, of St. Peters, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2009, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Ruth (Livinghouse) Folk.
Mrs. Lesher was a loving mother, active member of the Bethesda Baptist Church, and a well respected member of the community. She enjoyed crafts, old movies, cooking, and taking lessons in guitar and various forms of dance. Raising, riding, and giving horseback riding lessons were her passion.
Mrs. Lesher is survived by three daughters, Hollie, wife of Ronald Lins, of Sinking Spring, Connie M. Lesher, of Chandler, AZ, and Gail H. Lesher, of Chandler, AZ, two sons, Terry D., husband of Eleanor Lesher, of Coatesville, and Kenneth A. Lesher, of Elverson, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and seven siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Bethesda Baptist Church, 2140 Harmonyville Road, Pottstown, PA 19465, on Wednesday, July, 15, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Bill Wexler. Friends will be received following the service.
