Darrel W. McGregor, 55, of Royersford, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in his residence. Born in Portsmouth, Maine, he was a son of Margaret G. (Sharpe) McGregor and the late Frank W. McGregor, of Royersford.

Darrel was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School and had been employed as a local truck driver. He was an avid auto racing and Philadelphia sports fan.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Susan McGregor, of Limerick and Cathy, wife of Richard Sooy, of State College; one brother, Bill, husband of Betty McGregor, of Royersford; two nephews; and one niece.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Monday, June 23, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Donald B. Eisenhauer. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
