David B. Stewart, 48, husband of Tonya M. (Haines) Stewart, of Spring City, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020 in his residence. Born on August 10, 1971 in Pottstown, he was a son of Ethel (Searfoss) wife of Robert Kehler, of Spring City and the late Robert J. Stewart.
Dave was a master of all things mechanical and could build anything, whether it was in construction or a motor. He loved boating and fishing. Above all else, family was most important to Dave. His favorite memories were from times spent with family at The Villas, in Cape May; fourwheeling, riding dirtbikes and offroading in Jersey and the mountains; drag racing with his sons at RMC; and trips to the mountains and Berwick, PA, to visit his grandparents and where his family is originally from. Dave can also be credited for introducing his brother to his first night of "cruising" High Street and would open his home if someone needed a place to crash.
In addition to his wife, mother and step-father, Dave is survived by his children: Collin D. Stewart, Brian M. Stewart and Natalie R. Stewart, all of Spring City; brother: Jeff R., husband of Joann Stewart, of East Coventry; maternal grandparents: Arthur and Ethel Searfoss, of Trappe; and nephew: Jake Stewart.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Donald B. Eisenhauer. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
