Obituary

David W. Williams, age 87, wife of the late Betty R. (Ryno) Williams, of Boyertown, PA, formerly of Norristown, PA, died early Sunday morning, November 28, 2010 in the Phoebe Nursing Home in Allentown. Born in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late John T. Williams and Carolyn M. (Wilde) Williams DeWan. He was a 1941 graduate of the Norristown High School, and attended the Drexel University. A veteran, he served as a sergeant for the 4th Marine Air Wing of the U.S. Marines during World War II. He was a sales engineer and worked for several companies in North America through the years. He was a very active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Oaks. He enjoyed stamp collecting.

Mr. Williams is survived by one daughter; Candace-Leigh "Candi" , wife of Gregory P. Douglass, of Macungie, PA, one son; D. Eric, husband of Dorothy M. (Burke) Williams, of Royersford, PA, one sister; Carolyn Shewchuk, of Spring City, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 126 Black Rock Road, Oaks, PA 19456 on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 1:00PM. Officiating will be the Rev. Daniel K. Olsen. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association, 625 West Ride Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Condolences may be made by visiting www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
