David L. Yerk, 64, of Royersford, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. He was the fianceé of Pam Mertz.
He was born in Spring City to the late Paul Yerk and Jeanne Fry. He graduated from Spring Ford High School and Kutztown University. He was the head golf professional at Radnor Valley Country Club and later was an executive with the Almo Corporation. David was a member and former President of Radley Run Country Club.
In addition to his fianceé, he is survived by his children: Kyle D. Yerk and fianceé Shannon Niland, of Philadelphia; Seth A. Yerk and wife Nicole Ziccardi Yerk, of New York City; Taryn E. Yerk, of Nottingham, PA; and brother, Paul Yerk and wife Sally, of Cape May, NJ. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert, late husband of Shu-Chu, also of Royersford.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
