Obituary

Delores C. (Houck) Brittain, age 83, wife of the late L. Dale Brittain, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 in her residence. Born on September 6, 1937 in Boyertown, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Weller) and Ammon Houck.

Delores had been employed in production at Annin (Dettra) Flag Company, in Oaks until her retirement in 2005. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing cross stitch, often making treasured items for her family.

She enjoyed spending time with all of her family members, but most importantly, Delores was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.

Delores is survived by her daughter: Bonnie L., wife of John Warren, of Phoenixville; grandchildren: Julie, wife of Jeff Hopple, of Virginia, Jason, husband of Gina Warren, of Phoenixville, Joy, wife of Jeff Wildman, of Phoenixville and Jaclyn, wife of Dan Tully, of Phoenixville; twelve great-grandchildren; brother: David, husband of Kay Houck, of Boyertown; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Arnold, husband of Ruth Houck, of Macungie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert Stringfellow. Interment will be held privately in Morris Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
