Dennis Leonard Joseph Catagnus (Denny), age 77, husband of the late Diana Catagnus of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 9, 2026 at his home in Eagleville, PA. Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Anna (Bonitatis) and Sullivan Catagnus.

Dennis was a graduate of Methacton High School where he played baseball and football, later serving honorably in the United States Army. Dennis worked for many years of his life designing and constructing pools. After retirement, he worked a part time job at Shannondell. He loved all things Disney, shopping at Costco, weekly family dinners, being a dedicated Philadelphia Eagles fan, but most of all his family. He was lovingly referred to as "Pop" or "Big Pop" by many.

He is survived by his three daughters; Wendy, wife of James Olson, Stacey Janney, and Heather Dinnini, his five grandchildren; Eric Falini, Caitlin McDonald, Arland Janney, Ryan McGarrigle, and Gianna Dinnini, his great grandchildren; Bryce Janney, Maelyn McDonald, and was expecting two great grandsons that he was very excited to meet, his sister Loretta Lukas, his Aunt Sylvia Meyers, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Diana (Schaffer) Catagnus, his parents Sullivan and Anna Catagnus, and his sister Nacia McLain.
